Understanding the True Mini Jersey Breed Standard
Cute does not equal correct. To preserve traditional Jersey integrity, including milk production, metabolic efficiency, and longevity, breeders must look past frame size alone. Focus on structural traits like open rib spring for forage capacity, correct legs, wide thurl, and graceful strength.

Miniature Jerseys should be proportionately smaller. A body that appears full-sized on short stumpy legs is to be avoided.
